We\u2019re delighted to share that Moate Pickleball Club<\/strong>, operating under Moate Community Youth + Sports Association at Moate Sports & Recreation Centre, has been selected for the Tesco Community Fund<\/strong> at Tesco Golden Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Is the Tesco Community Fund?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Tesco Community Fund is a local initiative that supports community groups and charities. When customers shop in participating Tesco stores, they receive a blue token at the checkout. These tokens can then be placed into one of three community group boxes in-store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the funding period, the group with the most tokens receives the highest level of funding, with the other groups also receiving support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How You Can Help<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you are shopping in Tesco Golden Island<\/strong>, simply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Collect your blue token at the checkout.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Place it in the box labelled:
    Moate Community Youth + Sports Association (Moate Pickleball Club)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    That\u2019s it \u2014 it costs nothing and takes a few seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What the Funding Will Be Used For<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Moate Pickleball Club is one of the fastest-growing activities at the Centre. Since launching in 2024, the club has gone from strength to strength, welcoming players of all ages and abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
