We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Soccer Stars, Ireland’s premier football programme for young children, at Moate Sports & Recreation Centre! This fantastic programme offers a fun and educational introduction to football for children aged 1.5 to 5 years, all in a supportive environment.
What is Soccer Stars?
Soccer Stars is Ireland’s leading football initiative designed to introduce both boys and girls to the fundamentals of football. The programme encourages physical activity, teamwork, and—most importantly—fun! Developed by football professionals, Soccer Stars helps children build essential skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting through engaging, age-appropriate games and activities.

- Day: Every Sunday (excluding holidays)
- Age Groups & Session Times:
- Minis (1.5 – 2.5 years): 10 AM – 10:45 AM
- Stripes (2.5 – 3.5 years): 11 AM – 11:45 AM
- Stars (3.5 – 5 years): 12 PM – 12:45 PM
- Location: Moate Sports & Recreation Centre
- Fees:
- €70 for the first month (includes a Soccer Stars jersey)
- €50 recurring monthly fee thereafter
