Scouting Ireland, in partnership with Moate Sports & Recreation Centre, is looking to re-establish a Scout Group in Moate. After a period without scouts in the area, we believe now is the perfect time to bring this wonderful opportunity back to the local community.
Before taking the next step, we are seeking expressions of interest from adult volunteers who would be willing to help provide scouting activities for young people in Moate and the surrounding areas.
Scouts engage in a wide range of fun and educational activities, including camping, hiking, survival skills, community service, and team-building exercises. Through these experiences, young people learn important life skills such as leadership, resilience, and responsibility. Scouting also fosters a strong sense of camaraderie, helping to build confidence and lifelong friendships.
If you are enthusiastic about outdoor adventure, leadership, and supporting the development of young people, this is your chance to get involved!
